Through My Father's Eyes

Through my father's eyes,
I wish I could've seen,
All my sorrows and happiness,
And everything in between.

He saw so many triumphs,
And so many defeats as well.
He lived a life of experiences,
So many stories he could tell.

Through my father's eyes,
He could always see,
Whenever we were falling down,
He saw the forest, not just the trees.

My father was always there,
And through his eyes he could see,
All our successes and failures,
If you knew him, I'm sure you'd agree.
